Valley of flowers trek is a heartwarming trek in India. Everyone must and should have to  visit  this trek at least once in their whole lifetime. The  local area around the trek is used to jog down to the trek of  pleasant environment and mesmerised food and mood . For a glance,it seems to be like a flower pathed trek. How to reach

This has a bus,taxi,Volvo buses, private taxis are available  from Delhi to Haridwar. This can be the  first time that you can have the taxis of which are available around the to arrive within 10-12 hrs Govindghat. In this Valley the flowers are pinned 16 km away from it.Valley of flowers is pinned on the state of Uttarakhand. First we have a stop at the base of the govindghat as it is along a picturesque trek. In the road of Govindghat which is attached with the road of Dehradun and two major cities in uttarakhand.

Air: On a daily basis the airport is named as Jolly Grant at Dehradun which runs the  flights to Delhi.

Train: Rishikesh is the place where the railway station is beside the best choosable. When the train is not available then we can catch the taxis and buses that can take you there to arrive at Govindghat.

Best time to visit

In this Valley has  the flowers is the national park which allows entry at the time of 7.00 AM everyday and closes the entries at exactly 2.00 PM.These entries must return by the time of 5.00 PM only.  This valley is stunning during the months of May,June and September.

Things to carry

This Things  to carry the while heading the valley of flowers in national park:

When we start the trek we have to wear a warm  shirt or full sleeve t-shirt and thermal innerwear etc.

  • Trekking pants which are water resistant.
  • Jackets which are water resistant.
  • A full sleeved woollen sweater.
  • In this weather we need Carry a handy umbrella as it is a park with a vast variety of flora and fauna.
  • Sunglasses and camera to get rid of sun rays and having pictures with flowers.
  • A water bottle and a towel while travelling and walking.
  • Bring high quality trekking shoes or boots.
  • In this trek we need Carry the Necessary medicines like bandages, antibiotics, vomiting medicines etc should be carried.
  • Some dry fruits need to be carried.
  • Necessary Toiletries like face washer,soap etc.
  • A pair of gloves if needed.
  • Have shorts.
  • A woollen hat.
  • Woollen jumpers.

Level of difficulty

 This is Level of difficulty for the valley of flowers trek  which is negotiated to be moderate. This trek is physically challenging. The Valley of Flowers is a trek which is not at all for the trekkers but they need to be fit. Let’s know about  the difficulties we may confront here. In this way the  trekking is overwhelmed with the forests and vegetation  . As a result, we don’t want to be afraid of landslides on this trek. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Head to Haridwar to Joshimath which is 1,874 m.Haridwar is a religious pilgrimage place. In Hindu mythology , Haridwar is the standing one among  the seven pristine temples. This  is one of the best sacred pristine temples there with the holy water Ganga river. 

Day 2:  Later we need to travel to Head, Joshimath to Govindghat, the covered distance is 1,828 m. Later the trek to Ghangaria was a 14 kms trek.Many of the devotees vowed to forgive their sins by drowning themselves into the Ganga river water.

Day 3:   In the above 7km there is a continuous trek from Ghangaria to HemkundTrek . In this Hemkund is a religious place which has glacial lakes and seven mountain ranges which are at the elevation of 4329 metres. It is one of the names itself by saying it stands for Snow and kund stands for Bowl.

Day 4: Later ahed to Valley of flowers trek and returned back to Ghangaria.This place is overwhelmed with cold and sacred water. In the thick forests more attractive waterfalls are well visualised in it.  

Day 5:  This Trek is from Ghangaria to Govindghat and to Badrinath.

Day 6: These Heads from Joshimath to Haridwar are there in this trek. 

About the locals

In the absence of humans, locals around the valley of flowers believe that the place is the home for fairies to descend in the absence of humans. It has a magical impression of colorful flowers and the whole trek is overwhelmed with the  indeed leaves on it. This was an area with a highly diversified landscape having rich flora and fauna with significant species like snow leopard, Himalayan musk deer and numerous plant species etc. A versatile landscape with attractive species.
